During the pandemic, I saw people in my neighborhood digging through trash cans for food as restaurants closed and resources dried up. I put out a small wire rack with water and crackers—just trying to help.
That small gesture grew into The 7th Ward Triangle, a 24/7 community fridge and pantry built on care, dignity, and the belief that no one in our community should go hungry.
Today, we've distributed over 40 tons of food and served more than 1,750 families across New Orleans.
